That I've got to learn to live and dream
before I go and get myself in love.

I got to see a great friend tonight that I haven't seen in a long while-about a year I suppose. My speech/drama/engish teacher from high school and a dear friend, mentor, and personal hero was Mr.Steve Vitosky. He passed away of lukiemia nearly 2 years ago. I was really close to him, as were all of his 'kids'. Tonight I had the pleasant privilage of seeing his wife, Melenda. She and I, along with two other 'kids' of V's went to Squealer's BBQ in Mooresville. (It was D-E-liciouse.) After that we went down to a "church" to see a concert. While the building and the folk performers had nothing in common, I found that hopefully this would be my last time in this cultish church. This, if you aren't familiar, is the "church" that encourages "diversity" a.k.a. homosexuality and other sins.
Well, anyway, in between songs one of the singers was talking about how this next song was written. There was this guy that the record company wanted for the two of them to compile a few songs or whatever. So they were having dinner getting to know each other and the guy says that he was one of the boys in the Walton's. Yeah, the tv show. He talked about production and stuff; and then said that before every show, Grandpa Walton would make 'special' brownies and eat one before taping. These were very special brownies---marijuania brownies.
Yeah, so evidently every time Gradpa Walton was on tv he was stoned!!
So it was a great night with a lot of folk songs I've never heard of-like one about French. Well that's another story and I'm sleepy so I'm going to bed.
