I also feel compelled to register my utter disgust with the puerile rhetoric being spewed by fanatic supporters of both major candidates. Civil discourse shows much more thought and maturity; it's also much more likely to sway potential voters. What's my position? I think that it's unfortunate that truly moderate candidates are unable (almost by definition) to galvanize the populous enough to win a major election. And I'll leave it at that... |
